Prof. Chandran Kukathas is a political theorist and the current Dean of School of Social Sciences, Singapore Management University. Until 2019, he was the Head of the Department of Government at the London School of Economics, where he held a Chair in Political Theory.

Armando Barrientos is Professor Emeritus of Poverty and Social Justice at the Global Development Institute at the University of Manchester in the UK. He was Research Director at the Brooks World Poverty Institute and has acted as adviser to international bodies including UNICEF, UNDP and ILO.
