NLSIU Team Wins the Nani A. Palkhivala Memorial Quiz Competition

We are delighted to announce that the National Law School of India (NLSIU) Bangalore team were declared winners of the Nani A. Palkhivala Memorial Quiz Competition. The NLSIU team, won with a lead of 85 points over the runner-up team, and were awarded a cash prize and a trophy. The Chief Guest of the event, Justice Dipankar Datta felicitated the team.

We congratulate the NLSIU team, which was represented by – Apratim Chandra Singh – 1st Year, LL.B (Hons.) and Suvanssh Mahajan – 3rd Year, B.A,LL.B (Hons.)

About the Competition

The Nani A. Palkhivala Memorial Quiz Competition commemorates the life and legacy of the Indian jurist Nani A. Palkhivala.

To mark the 50th anniversary of pronouncement of the historic judgment in Kesavananda Bharati v. State of Kerala, the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in association with the Nani A. Palkhivala Memorial Trust and the Tata Group organised the quiz competition on life of Nani A. Palkhivala and the Constitution of India.

The competition was conducted as part of the Nani A. Palkhivala Memorial Conclave this year on November 25, 2023, at WBNUJS, Kolkata. Further details about the quiz competition, can be accessed here.
