Profile
Laksha is a Visiting Faculty at NLSIU since 2021 and a litigating lawyer practicing in Bengaluru since 2015. She utilizes her experience working on civil and commercial litigation to provide students a theoretical and practical framework of working in law. She is passionate about policing and the law.
Since 2021 Laksha has been working with the Karnataka State Police in association with NLSIU as a consultant on the Police Project. The project includes several themes on policing. She is conducting research on challenges faced by women in the Police Department. She has provided training to the Bangalore City Police on the Domestic Violence Act and gender sensitization. She provides leadership training to the Karnataka Police, travelling to stations in various districts in the state.
