This course is an introduction to Decision Theory. Though there are (potentially) very wide applications of Decision Theory, including but not limited to the fields of Economics, Political Science, Law, Policy Making, Engineering, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science etc., our focus would be to use the same to understand some general decision making processes. This course would equip the students with Statistical, analytical and Game theoretic concepts and tools to understand and analyse real world situations and decision making, where rational individuals continuously engage in interactive and strategic behavior and decision making. This course would employ Statistical, Mathematical, Game theoretic and Graphical methods to analyze situations and decision making.
