(This is a course mandated by BCI). This is an introductory course to microeconomics with applications to law and policy. A student should be able to understand how microeconomics can help in understanding the behaviour of individuals and firms, attempting to behave in an optimal manner under constraints and hence be able to predict outcomes. It provides a whole new perspective of understanding the world we live in. As students of law you will find this course extremely useful in analysing, designing and even the practice, of law by employing the method and methodology of economics.

The course while involving case studies, online discussions and exercises will be predominantly lecture based.
