Profile
Aastha Verma is a student of Political Philosophy. Her core research interests lie in the intersections of feminist theory, political theory and democratic theory, specifically from a socio-legal lens. Her current research project seeks to critically analyse the notion of presence when applied to the space of the Indian Courtroom.
Additionally, she is interested in questions of policy formulation and implementation. She has worked closely with the Gender Resource Centre, Government of Bihar. She has also assisted the Goethe Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan in the conduct of a workshop on democracy.
