Profile
He is a lawyer and researcher specializing in criminal justice and community lawyering. His work has focused on the cultures of policing, and the marginalisation by criminalisation and incarceration. He is interested in using quantitative methods for his research. He is currently affiliated with the School of Policy and Governance at the Azim Premji University, Bangalore. He co-founded the Criminal Justice & Police Accountability Project, a Bhopal based litigation & research intervention which focused on building accountability against criminalisation of communities by the police, and the criminal justice system.
