Profile
Ashitha Bhagwan is a seasoned dual licensed (India and U.S.) lawyer, angel investor, and mentor to emerging tech companies, entrepreneurs, global multinational corporations and investors in India, United States, and rest of the world. Ashitha has represented startups, founders, investors, accelerators, family offices and VC/PE funds on various stages of their businesses’ lifecycle. She has several years of experience in a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, including cross border structuring, venture capital financings, international investments, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
As the Managing Partner at Inventus Law India, a cross border law firm focusing on the venture capital industry, she manages a team of lawyers, paralegals and company secretaries who work on corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisition transactions. Prior to Inventus Law India, she spent a decade as an attorney at multiple US law firms working closely with Indian entrepreneurs entering the US market and foreign entrepreneurs entering the Indian market. Her intimate experience in the venture capital industry both in India and US has made her the go-to choice for clients in the technology industry.
