Profile

Anviksha Drall has previously worked at the T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal University, where she taught subjects like micro and macro-economics and econometrics.

Her thesis is titled “Determinants of rural non-farm sector employment and its impact on farm production: A study in Semi-arid tropics and Eastern regions of India”. Her research areas include the labour supply patterns of Indian farmers, focussing majorly on non-farm sector activities. She has also undertaken research on how engagement in non-farm work affects farming activities focussing on important aspects like labour efficiency, and environmental consequences, among others.

Anviksha is passionate about interlinkages between non-agricultural activities and other aspects of economy. She writes in a variety of publications exploring the same and plans to contribute to public policies aimed at enhancing welfare of rural workers in India.
