Profile

Sahibnoor Singh Sidhu is a lecturer and researcher, working primarily in the realm of comparative constitutional law and constitutional history of the Indian subcontinent. He has previously taught Comparative Federalism and Comparative Constitutional Law at Jindal Global Law School, where he also serves as a Senior Research Associate with the Centre for Constitutional Law Studies.

He has, among others, worked with the Office of Advocate General of Punjab, Dr. Anmol Rattan Sidhu and served in the Chambers of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Hrishikesh Roy, Judge, Supreme Court of India briefly. He is currently working on two projects: the first explores the history and effectiveness of the Constitution of the princely state of Aundh between 1939 and 1950, while the other explores the constitutional drafting process in J&K between 1951 and 1957.
