Two Students from NLSIU Named Aditya Birla Scholars for 2024-25

25th Aditya Birla Scholarships Programme

We are pleased to announce that two NLS students from the BA LLB (Hons) programme have been awarded the Aditya Birla Scholarships for 2024-2025. The scholarship recognises outstanding students in the management, law and engineering streams, and encourages young leaders to make their mark in the world.

Overall, there were 409 applicants from across 22 institutions in the categories of Management, Law, and Engineering. In the law stream, the scholarships have been awarded to 17 students across the country. The Aditya Birla Scholars from NLSIU for 2024-25 are: Jigyasa and Shiny Verma.
We congratulate our students and wish them the very best for their academic journeys ahead.

About the Scholarship 

Instituted in 1999, the aspirational Aditya Birla Scholarship Programme is a way of creating leaders with a passion to excel. The scholarship aims to foster outstanding academic excellence and humane leadership values. The Aditya Birla Scholarships Programme is not only about academic excellence but also a force for good.

The Selection Process

Hundreds of students from management, engineering and law were evaluated. The students’ overall achievements spanning academic and co-curricular excellence was assessed for selection in the next round. Essays written by these students were then reviewed by a panel to shortlist candidates for the final round. The shortlisted students were invited for an interview based on which the students who have been named as the Aditya Birla Scholars were finally selected. The interviews were conducted by an eminent panel of luminaries and academicians.
