We are happy to share that National Law School of India University, Bengaluru has been ranked No 1 among Law Universities in the 2021 Ranking Framework released by various publications this year.
September 2021 | NIRF Ranks NLSIU as Top Law Institution for 2021
NLSIU has retained its #1 spot in 2021 for law in the National Institutional Ranking Framework, released by the Ministry of Education on September 9, 2021. This is the fourth year in a row that the University has secured the top spot in the NIRF rankings! This ranking is based on the parameters of teaching and learning resources; research and professional practice; graduation outcomes; outreach and inclusivity; and perception.

August 2021 | Outlook’s Top Government Institutes in India
The Outlook-ICARE India 2021 Rankings of Top Government Institutes placed NLSIU at the top of the list in India. The rankings were based on the parameters of:

August 2021 | The Week-Hansa Research Survey
The WEEK and Hansa Research conducted the Best Colleges Survey 2021 to rank the best multidisciplinary and technical institutions in the country. NLSIU was ranked as the top law college in this survey.

August 2021 | Careers360 India’s Best Law Schools 2021
Careers360, an Educational Services & Career platform, ranked NLSIU as the top law school in its 2021 survey. This issue features an interview with the University’s Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Sudhir Krishnaswamy who talks about establishing a more diverse student and faculty body at NLSIU, and exploring collaborations with other State universities.

The University made it to the top of the list yet again in the India Today’s Rankings of Best Law Colleges for 2021.

July 2021 | India Today’s Rankings of Best Law Universities | Virtual Verdict
NLSIU topped India Today’s rankings of Best Law Universities in India. The University was ranked based on its innovativeness, and the pace at which it adapted to imparting education during the pandemic. In addition to online classes, National Law School of India University (NLSIU) established an online method to simulate moot courts and online clinical courses that allows students to prepare for their legal careers.

June 2021 | EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings 2021-22
NLSIU was ranked #1 in India for its Law courses in the EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings 2021-22!
The survey was conducted by the Delhi-based Centre for Research & Forecasting (C fore estb. 2000) – a market research and opinion poll company – which interviewed 1,018 faculty members and professionals across the country. The rankings are based on perception scores under six parameters of higher education excellence, including infrastructure, placements, faculty competence, curriculum & pedagogy (digital readiness), faculty welfare and development and leadership.
