Rashi Singhal has previously interned with IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) firms such as Anand & Anand, and K&S Partners where she gained hands-on experience in various aspects of IPR law, particularly in trademark and copyright litigation.
She holds a B.A. LL.B. degree from the University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGSIPU, New Delhi. She completed her LLM from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad with specialized courses in Copyright and Patents Law. She is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Programming and Data Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
Throughout her academic journey, she has had an interest in IPR and Programming. She has explored this interest through various courses, including Harvard’s CopyrightX, Coursera’s Copyright Law in the Music Business, WIPO Academy’s General Course on Intellectual Property, and WQU’s Applied Data Science I: Scientific Computing and Python.
Areas of Interest: Her areas of interest include the interaction between law and technology, specifically IPR, data privacy, AI and the extent to which reliance on IPR will affect the potential legal regulations of new technologies and consequently, their implications on society.
Apart from work, she enjoys engaging with feminist media, playing piano, and exploring technology hacks to make life easier.
